Ùltima etapa de 2013 - Rei e Rainha do Mar - RJ 12km/Last Competition 2013 - King and Queen of the Sea - 12km RJ

Meu Vídeo Ultra Paddle Run - Episódio 3 Sup em Ushuaia; My Vídeo Ultra Paddle Run 3 chapter Sup in Ushuaia:

The Journey to Ushuaia was amazing and unforgettable , which could tame a region previously unexplored by stand up paddle , as the Beagle Channel and Lake Fagnano the " end of the world ."

The Ultra Paddle Run project initially was just to pass a line of training for Stand Up Paddle Race , benefiting athletes from other sports like Trithlon and Race , but the idea of doing a workout in the form of adventure awakened in me something else, a search even more, making my strokes in places never before explored by a sup and running in places like lush mountains , trails and so on.

This project besides be paying off for me , and others who sought to make the practice of it , has given an incredible impact , appearing in materials , magazines and websites , could not be happier .

Now I'm preparing for my new project a paddle Search, where this time the focus will be supsurf in search of new adventures and gorgeous places to show it to you through my pictures and videos , I will be traveling to various places in the world as Portugal , Costa Rica , a country in Africa and a country where it can be cold Russia , Alaska or Norway.

Diário de minha viagem para Ushuaia no Fim do Mundo/ Diary of my trip to Ushuaia at the End of the World 18/11:

3 pm - Termino meu principal objetivo nesta viagem o Ultra Paddle Run no Fim do Mundo.

Agora quero explorar a região, desbravar o Fim do Mundo.....

Visual hallucinatory, finish my rowing at the same point where I started my transition and begins to race to the Glaciar Martial, objective of the summit. Race -4 degrees to freezing temperature, a short climb but with an altitude of 1050 meters, a total of 56 minutes running uphill in the snow, a new sensation for me.

Diário de minha viagem para Ushuaia no fim do mundo / Diary of my trip to Ushuaia at the end of the world Day - 16-17/11

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
17/11- I arrived in Ushuaia at the End of the World, I am struck by the beauty of the place, the Andes everywhere you look, like a painting, ask for the taxi to take me to more localized Hostel City Hostel was Yakush the site chosen by daily 380 Argentine pesos for 2 people. The first day at the end of the world was terrified by all, saying the danger of paddling the Beagle channel due to water temperature be negative, it could kill me in 2 minutes if there was a fall, and would have to have a permit from city hall to Power paddling in place, being a border between Chile and Argentina, I think things are getting pretty tough, I'm worried as project tracking.

Video:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
16/11 - Porto Alegre I left with nothing planned, wanted to venture into more intense, leaving to get there to examine live what the Beagle Channel would have to offer me. Know it would snow, cold and danger, that was what I was after.

A short trip to Buenos Aires in Argentina and one 8 hour wait to catch my next flight to the End of the World.

Chagada em Ushuaia / Arrival in Ushuaia:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqebPhgJjms

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Already in Ushuaia, the pleasant temperature 4-8 degrees in first day we all recognition site of the Beagle Channel, and saw that not quite rowed out and continue my journey.

The laws here are very specific, and concern cm Security, and the huge, because for the first
channel is the border between Chile and Argentina, the other being the water temperature of minus 2 - minus 6 degrees, and a drop in the water would be fatal in 2 minutes.

So today I'm with the naval permission  base and city governments, and the adventure begins today.

My arrival can already be seen in this vídeo:

Ultra Paddle Run no Fim do Mundo / Ultra Paddle Run at the end of World:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sup Surfing in Uruguay:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On September 17 Uruguay chose to retreat, to prepare me for my next project which will be intense, the goal was to get good waves in the region of La Paloma who always has good waves formation. The swell forecast was encouraging, but it was only entering the weekend on the 21st, with a good size of 1 meter.

The Uruguay is a classic place where the people keep an ancient culture, with its houses of stone or wood, and you do not see real estate growth, or large buildings, this is what really draws attention, their cold cuts, cheese, ham, milk are the best in the world, the only bad thing is the gasoline that was around 4.95 reais.

Let's go next!! aloha!!

Treino Semana 19/8 - 25/8:

24/8- Muita chuva off total.

Music of the week in my mp3:

Ultra Paddle Run Travessia Volta á Ilha do Mel - PR Solo

16/8-

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
16/8

Friday was the big day, the wind eased and was around 10knos gusting a bit stronger, but decided to go anyway. I made the first round will not stop Ilha do Mel, with a time of 4 hours and 50 minutes in extreme conditions. Upwind, crosswind, lateral undulation, all these difficulties made this journey a great overcoming personal and sure to be unforgettable. The race was remarkable because it ran in the historical parts of the island as the Fortress and Lighthouse, 21 km of trail and beach, up and down, back to Porto Alegre with the mission accomplished and miss this place so welcoming that surely return one day.

Video already in the air from the second episode:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58UKWnHDoq0

15/8
My arrival in Ilha do Mel, on Tuesday Aug. 13, was with a cold front that is all over the South of Brazil, making it impossible to do my second episode Ultra Paddle Run right away, so I'm waiting, rain and strong wind can download to make my crossing and running, everything is pointing to that tomorrow is the big day.

The idea is to do is turn will Ilha do Mel then run historic sites as Fort Island and the lighthouse, I will totally adrenalizado two days, but I will not put my life at risk so to make this crossing with the wind that intensity and waving as it is playing out at various points, because I'll no support, and has points that have no where to stop.

I believe that tomorrow is the big day!!

Ganhei a 4º etapa brasileira de suprace na Bahia, categoria Unlimited 15 km/I won the 4th stage suprace Brazilian Bahia, Unlimited category 15 km:

This proof of stand up paddle race was a test for me mentally, the more training that have taken effect oddly enough was the Yoga and meditation. Did proof 15km almost all in 2nd place, working on my mind all the time saying to myself that it was possible to win the race in Bahia was all done in strategy since had a very strong wind from the northeast, then had parts in Lagoa who rowed on the one hand, other parts of the middle, the other other hand, in the last 3 km did a totally different strategy of all, where they were glued margin hiding from the wind, so I opted to go for middle of the pond catching the headwind, and that's when everything went right, I took a chain and gained a great time on the 1st place and administered the lead until the end. I am very happy to keep the leadership of the Brazilian Circuit of suprace. 15km 1:37:00
